Install the app
Available from the Play Store on Android and Android TV. On Firestick, sideload via Downloader using the address support supplies.

Choose your login type
On first launch pick Xtream Codes Login rather than M3U where possible — it retrieves the programme guide automatically and separates live, movies and series.

Enter details carefully
XCIPTV is stricter about URL formatting than most players. A trailing space copied from a message causes a silent failure with no error shown. If a paste fails twice, retype it by hand.

Set the EPG update interval
Settings → EPG Settings → update every 12 or 24 hours. Add the XMLTV URL manually here if the field is empty.
Silent failure on a trailing space
XCIPTV will not tell you the URL is malformed — it simply fails to connect. Because the error looks identical to a wrong password, people spend a long time on the wrong problem. Clear the field and type the URL manually.
